Sheffield's award winning Turkish restaurant, Lokanta, returns to the Food Festival with its 100% British beef doner kebab and charcoal grill. Top quality meat from local butcher Lee Allsop will be cooked to order and served in delicious bread from the Lokanta oven. Grilled halloumi and freshly made hummus are also on the menu. Turkish wine and beer will be on sale and are the perfect match for this taste of Turkey made in Sheffield.

Roast is delighted to be attending this year's food festival where we will showcase our delicious fresh salads, inspired from culinary traditions and cuisines across the globe including Italy, USA, North Africa and the UK. Inventive and honest our salads have been enjoyed daily by our customers for a number of years and now we would like to share with you too. Favourites include warm mushroom, goat's cheese and pesto and pulled beef, beetroot, radish and onion chutney. Fresh, hearty soups will also be available, so come and try alongside local artisan bread and accompanying flavoured ciders to quench your thirst.

Showroom's head chef Simon Ayres will prepare your favourite seafood snacks - all sourced with kindness to our seas and oceans in mind. Treats include crab claws in tempura batter, organic fish from British waters and chips using seasonal potatoes.

There'll be cheeky twists on seaside sweet favourites like candyfloss and ice-cream that will transport you to the glittering briny coast (without the soggy weather and sand filled sandwiches...) As ever the talented Mr Ayres will convey plenty of insight into the sourcing of the produce as well as a good pinch of colourful banter.
