The Fun Starts in

Food festival market

The annual Sheffield Food Festival (SFF) aims to celebrate South Yorkshire as a vibrant culinary destination showcasing the diverse food culture of the region and supporting the local food economy.

The Festival is a free urban event, over three days and last year saw a staggering footfall of 184,000 visitors to the City Centre. Feedback responses included 99% of visitors wanting to see a further Festival with nearly three quarters of visitors stating they were 'more likely to buy local produce after attending the Festival'. Trader feedback included 'sales beyond expectation'.

If you are interested in trading within the Food market at the 2013 Sheffield Food Festival please download, complete and return the registration of interest form.
Please note that all traders must trade for the full three days of the Festival; all traders will be required to provide proof that they are compliant with all current legislation applicable to their type of food business; all traders must supply details of the Local Authority where their food business is registered; all traders must be covered with Public Liability insurance

On registration of your interest you will be placed onto the Festival Market database held by Sheffield Markets, Sheffield City Council; once interest forms have been collated a further formal registration form will be issued, to secure your trade space this must be fully completed and returned along with requested documents and payment. Until these forms and payment have been processed your space will not be secured.

Please note that the SFF Food Market is primarily for retail trade aiming to promote food from Sheffield and the surrounding areas and will be made up of local, artisan producers, further complimented by traders from further afield to ensure that a full and varied product range is available to customers. Pitches for caterers and hot food sales will be available but will be regulated to ensure avoidance of duplication of offer. All infrastructures must fit SFF restrictions/requirements.
