The Festival takes place across a weekend, with a wide range of delicious food and drink on offer at the artisan market, as well as technique master classes and demonstrations from the experts.
Activities take place throughout the city centre, split across five areas:
Festival Market - sample and buy the very best local and seasonal produce from Sheffield and nearby
Festival Kitchen - pick up cooking tips from local chefs and watch live demonstrations of mouth-watering dishes
Festival Picnic - relax and enjoy food from pop-up versions of your favourite Sheffield restaurants
Family Fun - get interactive with activities, events and competitions for children

We are delighted to welcome Taylor Shaw back as one of our main sponsors!
Quote from Taylor Shaw.
Taylor Shaw was extremely pleased and honoured to be a main sponsor of the Sheffield Food Festival 2012, it was the first time that school food and what is offered to the school children of Sheffield had been profiled as part of the show. Taylor Shaw like to see food differently and used the learning from meeting with our customers first hand at the festival to improve our service further and as a result business has improved. More children than ever before in Sheffield are choosing to take a healthy meals, which has just got to be good for individual children and Sheffield's long term health outcomes."
In 2012 it was a new venture for Taylor Shaw but we were extremely pleased with the outcomes, and especially the support, professionalism and overall approach of the organising team at Hallam University in partnership with Sheffield City Council colleagues. Also highlighting Taylor Shaw Catering Supervisors as local food champions was a great idea. This inspired Taylor Shaw to continue to support the event and put something back into the community. We are especially pleased with this year's vision and theme being children, learning and community. Food crosses so many boundaries, touches everyone's lives every day and through good food, fun and enjoyment children can achieve their best.
Taylor Shaw passionately believe that learning and food should go hand in hand, and to put it simply schools and children are integral to this...
We look forward to seeing all of you again at the Festival and Winter Garden this September.
